Terms of Service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Draft for review. This document is a good-faith starting point prepared from public guidance (including the FTC's COPPA materials and common youth-sports practices). It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by an attorney. F4 Flag Football should have qualified counsel review and finalize it before relying on it. Questions? Contact us.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the F4 Flag Football website and your family’s registration for and participation in our programs. F4 Flag Football is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth flag football league in Williamson County, Tennessee. By creating an account, registering a child, or using this site, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and your child.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child you register. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Children do not create or use accounts directly.

2. Registration and payment

Registration is complete when you submit a child’s registration and pay the applicable fee through our payment provider (Stripe). Fees vary by program. We offer need-based scholarships and payment plans so that cost is not a barrier — see our Scholarships page or contact us. A roster spot is confirmed once payment (or an approved scholarship/plan) is in place.

3. Refunds

We want families to feel good about registering. As a starting policy: if you withdraw before the season begins, we will refund your registration fee, less any non-refundable payment-processing costs; once the season has started, refunds are handled case by case (for example, a season-ending injury). To request a refund, contact us at hello@f4flag.com.

Note: F4 should confirm the exact refund terms and dollar thresholds with its board and counsel before launch.

4. Assumption of risk

Flag football is a non-contact sport, which reduces but does not eliminate risk. Any physical activity carries the possibility of injury. By registering a child, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the inherent risks of participating in practices, games, and related activities.

5. Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and agree to hold harmless F4 Flag Football and its directors, coaches, volunteers, and staff from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising out of ordinary participation in our programs, except for injury or damage caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. This release does not waive any rights that cannot be waived under Tennessee law.

A separate, signed participation waiver may be required at registration; that signed waiver, once finalized with counsel, governs where it differs from this summary.

6. Medical authorization

If your child is injured and you or your listed emergency contacts cannot be reached, you authorize F4 coaches or staff to seek appropriate emergency medical care for your child. You are responsible for keeping emergency contacts and medical notes accurate and up to date in your account.

7. Code of Conduct

Participation is conditioned on players, parents, spectators, coaches, and volunteers following our Code of Conduct. Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from a game, program, or the league without refund.

8. Photos and media

With the consent you provide when creating a child’s profile, F4 may use photos of participants in league materials such as rosters, recaps, and promotion. You can decline or withdraw this consent at any time; see our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use of the site

Use the site only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to access other families’ accounts or information, disrupt the service, or misuse the site in any way that could harm F4 or other users.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, F4 is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date. Questions? Email hello@f4flag.com or call (615) 982-4075.
